Types of Licenses Offered in DMCC

Industrial License

Granted to entities involved in light production or assembly operations carried out in approved industrial spaces inside the DMCC district.

Trading License

Designed for businesses engaged in the commercial exchange of goods,covering activities such as sourcing, distributing, importing, and exporting products within or beyond the UAE.

Service License

Issued to organizations offering specialized or consultancy-based services across a wide range of fields, including finance, law, media, technology, education, energy, and healthcare.

Documents Required for Setting Up a Company in DMCC

Completed online application for initial approval

Evidence of your residential address in your home country (such as a recent utility bill or bank statement)

A brief company or founder profile

Approvals from relevant authorities for activities that require regulation

A valid passport copy (and, if applicable, your UAE residence visa and Emirates ID)

A business plan, depending on the chosen activities

Information confirming your office location within the DMCC Free Zone (JLT)

Corporate documents of the parent entity if you are establishing a branch (submitted after registration)

Power of Attorney authorizing the Manager, Secretary, and Director, along with specimen signatures
